QS Stars certification renewal for Universidad de La Salle-Colombia: a 4-star university
Universidad de La Salle, Colombia is excited to announce it recently received an overall 4 Star rating from the QS Stars higher education rating system, one of the world’s most popular university rankings. Also, it is an honor to announce the highest scores in three categories: Inclusiveness, Employability and Teaching. The perception of students about the quality in academic training, graduate employment rates and careers service support, scholarships, financial opportunities provided to access higher education, among others, were the key indicators taken into account in the different criteria that were awarded five stars.
It is a demonstration, among others, of Universidad de La Salle’s academic excellence, ability to adapt to change even in extraordinaries times and uncertainty which motivated the institution to achieve these international standards. The QS Stars rating system provides an in-depth evaluation that assesses a university on a broad range of key performance indicators. It conducts a comprehensive and detailed appraisal of an institution analyzing dozens of indicators across 13 categories. Following the assessment, universities are awarded an overall as well as sectoral star results which range from 0 to 5 stars, depending on the number of points achieved.
